Wellness Tools for Depression

Depression is a recognized mental illness that affects many people and it can have a devastating impact on us where our ability to do everyday things, feel pleasure and take an interest in anything can be minimal.
The good news is that we now know people can return to wellbeing by making positive changes for themselves.
This workshop explores all aspects of depression so you can begin to understand your own depression better:
What it is & what is its purpose
What are the symptoms
What happens in our brain and body when we are depressed
Some common diagnoses of depression
What are the causes of depression
We will also spend time learning about a range of self-help tools that are known to help most people recover from depression. You will have an opportunity to try some of these out to see if they make a difference to you.
