Cultivating Self-Kindness – 14/02/2019

Despite our best efforts at self-awareness and self-improvement many of us still find ourselves hindered by the harsh and convincing voice of our inner critic that judges and criticizes our progress towards wellbeing. Many of us can have a sense that we are still our own worst enemy!
Research now shows that the tender work of learning to treat ourselves kindly and gently can really sow the seeds of deep self-acceptance and self -compassion.
This workshop will explore gentle exercises, techniques and meditation practices to help us approach and connect to our own feelings and experiences, especially around our negative self-talk, with a softer, more forgiving attitude and encourage a deep and genuine interest and concern for our own welfare.
