A Spring in Your Step

As our bodies come out of winter hibernation, they are preparing to spring into life once again, to bud, to blossom, to change, stretch and grow.
The majority of our time and energy is spent up in our heads – thinking, worrying, analysing and running our stories whilst our bodies often remain disconnected from us, ignored or out of our awareness. They stay quietly in the background, waiting and wanting to be heard.
This workshop is aimed at giving ourselves a much needed rest from the thinking mind. You are invited to connect with the innate wisdom of the body.
We will create a safe space to reconnect, through both movement and stillness, creating space for life force to flow more freely, supporting us to relieve pain, discomfort and unease within the mindbody.
The workshops will provide us with simple and effective techniques for everyday use, empowering us in caring for our physical and mental wellbeing, with kindness towards ourselves, as we are, in each moment. We will draw on techniques from meditation, tai chi/chi gong, shiatsu and deep relaxation.

Workshops are suitable for all levels of mobility, if unsure, please ask. You can attend all or as many of the dates as you are able to – please state which dates you will be attending on your application.
